Job description

As a Senior SQA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing and implementing testing strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the continuous improvement of our software development processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective test strategies, plans, and test cases to ensure the quality of software products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software.
• Design, implement, and execute automated test scripts to streamline testing processes.
• Conduct thorough regression testing to identify and address software defects and inconsistencies.
• Lead efforts to continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance overall software quality.
• Provide timely and accurate reports on testing progress, defects, and overall software quality to project stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of SQA engineers.
• Strong scripting skills using languages like Java, Python, or others commonly used in test automation
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to define and implement quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
